Association of Voluntary Actions for Society (AVAS) implements the Sponsorship Funded Program in Bhola Sadar Upazila with the support of Plan International Bangladesh. Working across 7 unions and 55 communities, we help children, adolescents and youth, especially girls, learn, stay safe, lead and build sustainable livelihoods. In 2025–26 we reached 6,508 people directly and 31,136 indirectly.

Real Change in Families and Communities

In 2025–26, 125 families received agribusiness support and 150 started homestead gardens to improve nutrition and income. Meanwhile, 55 community organisations were supported, 28 awareness sessions on preventing child marriage were held, and 110 sponsored children took part in self-defence training. Every activity follows our safeguarding standards.
