AVAS implements diverse development and humanitarian initiatives to build resilient, inclusive, and equitable communities. Our current projects address key challenges in women’s rights and leadership, health, education, livelihoods, human rights, climate resilience, disaster risk reduction, and emergency response. Working in partnership with local communities, government institutions, national and international organizations, and development partners, we strive to empower marginalized and climate-vulnerable populations, promote gender equality, and strengthen community resilience. Through locally led, participatory, and accountable approaches, AVAS works to create sustainable and meaningful change across coastal Bangladesh.
